Refund Policy
1. Fourteen-day refund window
You may request a refund for a one-time CaptureX version 1 seat license ($19, $29, $69, or $99, according to the selected plan) within 14 calendar days after purchase. This voluntary window does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
2. How to request a refund
- Use the self-service refund tool at the top of this page: verify the purchase email with a one-time code, choose the order, and confirm. Paddle returns the money to the original payment method, and the related license is revoked automatically.
- The self-service tool covers one full refund per order within 14 days of purchase. If the window has passed, this email has already used a self-service refund, or the tool cannot process the request, use the support or refund link in your Paddle receipt so we can review it manually.
- For product-support questions, you may open a public CaptureX GitHub issue without payment references, license keys, device grants, recovery secrets, or private media. Use the Paddle receipt link for transaction-specific refund details.
- Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Bank or payment-provider processing times may vary.
3. License effect
A full refund, chargeback, or confirmed fraudulent payment revokes the related license and prevents new activation, claim, or code-recovery operations. If Paddle reverses a chargeback or adjustment, the license may be restored after the reversal is confirmed.
Because the product is a one-time license, there are no prorated or unused subscription-period refunds. Partial refunds do not revoke the license unless required by law or expressly agreed during support review.
4. Abuse and exceptions
We may decline a voluntary refund request that is outside the 14-day window or shows fraud, repeated refund abuse, resale, or license sharing, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in this policy excludes non-waivable statutory remedies for defective digital goods.
